Lead Pastor

Some leaders build businesses. Ed Trinkle builds lives — and the families, marriages, and communities that hold them together. As Lead Pastor of Warehouse Church since 2015, Ed has spent over a decade turning a simple, defiant mission — building lives, strengthening families, and delivering hope — into a thriving North Dallas congregation that meets every Sunday at 10am, with life groups gathering across the North Dallas area every night of the week.

Warehouse Church was birthed out of Canyon Creek Church, and under Ed’s leadership it has grown into a community defined less by a building and more by a belief: that people do life better together, and that the best really is yet to come. That conviction shows up everywhere in Ed’s leadership — from the pulpit on Sunday mornings to the living rooms where life groups meet throughout the week.

Ed’s ministry is backed by serious academic and strategic depth. He holds a B.S. in Cross-Cultural Studies, a Master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling, and a Ph.D. in Philosophy of Strategic Leadership from Louisiana Baptist University and Theological Seminary. That rare combination — pastoral heart paired with strategic-leadership rigor — is what led him to write “The Church Revitalization Playbook,” a resource for helping churches move from stagnation to renewed vitality and mission. It’s a fitting extension of Ed’s core skill: diagnosing what’s broken in a system — whether a congregation, a family, or a leadership culture — and building a practical, disciplined path back to health.

Faith and family are inseparable in Ed’s story. He and his wife, Kim, have been married for 40 years, raising four daughters (and welcoming four sons-in-law) into a family that now includes nine grandchildren. Kim leads Warehouse Church’s women’s ministry, “Sisterhood,” hosting a thriving ladies’ life group every Tuesday night, and co-leads a young couples’ life group with Ed on Sundays. Together, they’ve built a ministry that models the very thing they preach: strong marriages and strong families as the foundation of a strong community.

Ed brings strategic leadership thinking to the work of pastoral care — a combination that makes him a valuable voice not just for congregations, but for leaders and organizations navigating growth, culture change, or renewal. Whether the context is a church plant, a family in crisis, or a leadership team looking to rebuild trust and direction, Ed’s approach blends compassion with a clear, structured playbook for lasting change.

Ed welcomes connections with fellow Warrior Networking members — whether you’re exploring faith, navigating a leadership challenge, or simply looking for a community that believes life is better lived together.
